Jeff D'Ambrosio Mitsubishi believes this is largely because the average consumer needs a model that can handle his or her multi-faceted life. That means delivering stellar performance with low fuel economy in a strong vehicle body that offers plenty of passenger space. Too much to ask of one simple car? Not when it comes to Mitsubishi. Then again, the innovative automaker doesn't exactly pump out "simple" models.
